This Is The Shark-Tank Pregame Report:

“#Lumbus sighting” -

The Sharks head on the road to Columbus after a disappointing loss against the Dallas Stars in a shootout, giving up a two goal lead….twice. The boys will try to rebound a 7 game winning streak and an 8 game points streak to stay in the mid-to-high playoff picture.

Raffi Torres didn’t care about if he heard boos or cheers, he got two great assists, including one that ended up getting to TJ Galiardi’s stick for a spin-o-rama goal, the first since Brian Campbell did in his only full season as a Shark. Early in the game, Raff was crosschecked into the boards, and was hit two more times, but didn’t react and let the guy take the penalty. This brings up the question…is Raffi changed now that he wears teal? Can he become an enforcer instead of a goon? He’d like to think so. The Sharks offense is still hot, as all four lines are scoring. But the Sharks defense comes up too high in the offensive zone, and gets stuck as the other team scores when trying to set up a defensive play.

Columbus looks like a new team, the phantom 2013 All Star Game hosts. The BJ’s are doing quite well after losing captain Rick Nash, playing better hockey than they have in the last 3 seasons. But with only 9 games left, they must start winning NOW. Marian Gaborik added his presence to the ice at the trade deadline for the Jackets, and is hoping to spark some more offense to this Columbus team.

INJURY REPORT : Sharks defenseman Scott Hannan (upper-body) is out. For the BlueJackets, neither Jared Boll nor Tim Erixon have played since March 29 because of upper body injuries. Erixon could play Tuesday. Both Brandon Dubinsky and Nikita Nikitin sat out the game Sunday. Dubinsky is doubtful and Nikitin is questionable for the game Tuesday. Ryan Johansen (lower body) also may have to sit out.
